Children Education
Classes for children age 3 through 5th grade meet in the education wing each Sunday morning during the school year. Classes are taught by volunteer teachers and include Bible stories, music and small group activities. Three-year-olds must turn 3 by the beginning of the school year to attend.
Children do not need to be members of Shepherd of the Hills to attend Sunday school. All children are invited and encouraged to attend. To register you child or for more information, contact Juli Baxter.
Children in 3rd to 5th grade meet Wednesdays once a month from 6-7:30 pm. They eat first with Shepherd's DOG's, our confirmation students. Then they participate in a devotion time, sharing time (about what is going on in their lives), an activity time and a game time.
Once a month they have an opportunity to participate in a community service project such as a food drive or Christmas caroling at a local nursing home. Other activities may take place outside of church like bowling. What a wonderful way for younger youth to share in fellowship and have fun!
You do not need to be a member of Shepherd of the Hills to join the group. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kristin O'Connor.
