Small Groups
Church isn’t just about Sunday mornings—it’s about building real, meaningful relationships that strengthen our faith and walk with Christ. A small group Bible study provides a space to connect on a deeper level, where you can ask questions, share life’s struggles, and grow alongside others in a supportive, Christ-centered community.
In Acts 2:42-47, we see the early church gathering in homes, breaking bread together, praying for one another, and living out their faith in unity. That same biblical model still transforms lives today. In a small group, you’re not just studying Scripture—you’re building lifelong friendships, finding encouragement in life’s ups and downs, and discovering the power of doing life together.
You don’t have to walk your faith journey alone—find a small group and discover the joy of true community!

Shepherd of the Hills is a large church & joining a small group has given me the opportunity to connect with more people. We learn about the highs & lows in other people’s lives & learn how to be more like Jesus in caring for others & in studying the Bible. Being in a small group is one of the best decisions I have ever made. - Lois, small group participant
Through a small group, you can dig deep into His Word and develop a bond of trust and closeness that is difficult to achieve during services alone. As God's Word says in Romans 12:15, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." We share personal struggles and victories in our lives and then lift each other up in prayer - whether for healing, strength and peace, or praises for victories. I have been blessed by being in a small group and have experienced a deeper level of growth in the Lord. - Bill, small group participant
Small groups offer so many blessings. When you are in the Word together with others, your learning and faith deepen by the encouragement and insights of others. Truly rich friendships are found in small groups where you freely share things that are heavy on your heart as well as the joys of life. You pray for one another and their loved ones, encourage each other through trials, and where Jesus grows our hearts to better reflect His love and light to others every day. - Karen, small group participant
