Welcome to The Crossing!
The Crossing is the Confirmation program hosted at Shepherd of the Hills for the purpose of educating, encouraging, and enriching the lives of our 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Every Wednesday, from 6-8pm, our students gather for meals and large group then break out into their small groups for each week's lesson.
Students are required to serve (8) hours per year as part of their participation as well as turn in sermon outline notes from sermons throughout the school year. All current Sermon Outlines are available by clicking on the button below. New outlines will be added each week as we go through the series.
Parents and students will automatically be added to our Planning Center Services once the registration process has been completed for The Crossing. This will allow you and your student to see all specific serving opportunities available through SHLC within The Crossing for parents and in our community and worship service events(i.e. Ruby's Pantry, worship acolyte, childcare assistant, Sunday School helpers, etc.). In order to most easily sign up for upcoming services, parents will need to create a Planning Center account for you and your student(s) by signing up with the same email used to register for The Crossing. Sign-ups are then available and visible through the SHLC Church Center app (Apple / Android) under the "Me" Tab.
