WORSHIP STYLES
REACH/Contemporary Worship
Our REACH contemporary services offer a modern worship experience. These services follow the basic structure of a traditional Lutheran service, including liturgical elements such as creeds and corporate confession, but the music consists predominantly of modern praise and worship songs led by our REACH worship team, consisting of vocalists, guitars, drums, piano and more. |
Traditional Worship
Our Traditional services are based around the Divine Service settings from the Lutheran Service Book (2006). The primary congregational music in this service consists of hymns led by the organ and piano. These services feature special musical offerings throughout the year from our adult choir, handbell choir, as well as other instrumental and vocal solos and duets, quartets and more. |

CELEBRATING THE LORD'S SUPPER
At Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion during all regular weekend worship services and on special occasions throughout the year.
As we gather for the Lord’s Supper, we come together as a family in faith, united by these truths: We acknowledge our need for God’s forgiveness (1 John 1:8-9). We trust in Jesus as our only Savior from sin and death (Romans 3:22-25). We believe in the Real Presence of Christ’s Body and Blood in this sacred meal (1 Corinthians 11:23-29). We commit to living out our faith, striving to follow Jesus each day (Ephesians 4:22-24, 5:1-2).
If you share in this confession and faith, we warmly invite you to partake in this gift of grace. If you have questions or would like to learn more, our pastors would love to speak with you before you participate in the Supper.
We look forward to welcoming you in worship and sharing in this sacred moment together!
