Kim began her career at SHLC as the Administrative Assistant in the fall of 2019 after serving for several years at another local church. She grew up in Waukesha and earned her Legal Secretary Associate’s Degree in La Crosse. After college, she worked as a legal secretary in and around the Milwaukee area, as well as in the Fox Valley. 

While in Milwaukee she met her husband, Chad, got married in 2000 and immediately moved to the Fox Valley area to begin their married life together. A few years into their marriage, Chad and Kim had a son, Archer, followed 4 years later by a daughter, Holland. They added a sweet puppy, Saber, a few years later who completed their family. Kim was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years, caring for their children and dog, as well as other children in their home. These days, Chad and Kim are learning what life as “empty-nesters” looks like for them as their son will soon graduate from college with a geology degree from UW-Oshkosh, and their daughter is pursuing music education at UW-Whitewater.

Chad and Kim are very family-oriented and enjoy any time their family can spend together. Kim enjoys attending anything her children are involved with, dining out, camping, attending concerts, and traveling as often as possible, often with their children.
