Special Needs Ministry
Every child is a precious gift, and we are committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every child can grow in faith and feel truly valued and included. Our Special Needs Ministry provides the following accommodations to ensure every child has a meaningful and enriching experience - whether they are in Sunday School, Middle School or High School Ministry. We can’t wait to welcome your family!
- One-on-One Blessed Buddies – Compassionate volunteers provide personalized support, walking alongside children to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged and embraced in their faith journey. Blessed Buddies are available for children in Sunday School as well as Middle & High School Ministry.
- Sensory Room – A calming, quiet space featuring relaxation and sensory-friendly activities. This room is primarily geared toward younger ages (3K-4th grade) who may benefit from larger group settings.
- Sensory Fidgets – Thoughtfully provided sensory tools help children manage stimulation and stay engaged in learning and worship.
- Welcoming Environments – From classrooms to worship spaces, we prioritize accessibility, inclusion and warmth, to help every child and family feel welcome. Our ministries are structured to support belonging for students of all abilities.
- Individualized Accommodations – We work closely with families to understand each child's needs, ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive in their church experience.
- Future Growth - At this time, we do not offer structured Special Needs Ministry services for adults, but we remain committed to finding ways to accommodate and support adults with disabilities whenever possible.
