Nathan Johnson~ Director of Worship and Music ~
Nathan Johnson was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and spent most of his childhood in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area. He attended elementary and middle school at St. Michael Lutheran School in Portage, Michigan, where His father is principal. He graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School in 2018. During high school, Nathan played the clarinet in concert band and was an active church musician leading worship at his home congregation, St. Michael Lutheran Church.
He studied church music at Concordia University Nebraska, where he graduated in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Music in Church Music. During his time at Concordia, Nathan was involved in leading worship services in both traditional and contemporary formats as well as singing in the Concordia University A Capella Choir.
