Rev. Steve Kline~ Senior Pastor ~
Just trying to capture... The Spirit of the Thing
Pastor Steve Kline was installed as Senior Pastor at SHLC on May 25, 2014, after serving 12 years as Senior Pastor at Zion in Wayside, WI. Pastor Steve graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and was ordained in 1992. He previously served congregations in Pulaski, WI, and Hales Corners, WI. He and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 31 years. Debbie has a master’s degree in counseling and works for Samaritan Counseling Center in Menasha.
Pastor Steve met Debbie while they were both attending Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon. Their daughter Erin graduated from CUW in 2018 and currently lives outside of Atlanta, GA. Their son Andy graduated from CUW in 2021 and is teaching at Trinity Lutheran School in Wausau. Pastor teaches theology classes for the CUW centers in Appleton and Green Bay, as well as online. Pastor Steve is the youngest of seven, born in Buffalo, NY, where many of his siblings still live. Debbie is the youngest of three girls, the others living in Denver, CO, and in Wrightstown, WI. Her father, Ron, lives in West Bend, WI, where Debbie grew up and where the Kline’s were married. The Kline’s are huge fans of the Packers and the Brewers, and they also follow hockey with the Buffalo Sabres and the Green Bay Gamblers. Pastor Steve loves to go deer hunting each November, but for some reason rarely returns home with a deer. He is still waiting for his dream Super Bowl – the Packers vs. the Buffalo Bills – or for Jesus to return, whichever comes first. Phone: 920.757.5722 Ext. 15 Email: [email protected] |
