We are launching kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun and is coming this summer to Shepherd of the Hills on July 31st - Aug. 3rd at 9:00am - 11:30am. Registration is open for all 3 year olds (*potty trained) - (exiting) 4th graders! Embark on an epic quest through God's amazing creation of space and learning that we too can shine His light!

Celebrating the Lord’s Supper Every Weekend

Celebrating the Lord’s Supper Every Weekend Starting September 1, we will be offering the Lord’s Supper at every regular worship service, every weekend throughout the year. This is in keeping with the example of Scripture (Acts 2:42) and the need every sinner has for the forgiveness freely offered in the Sacrament. In order to do this, we will need a substantial increase in our worship helpers. This is an awesome opportunity for individuals, couples or families to serve Jesus in a way that directly impacts the hearts of our fellow believers. I’m asking you to serve once a month at one service, as one of the following:
· ALTAR CARE: Prepare the communion table, then clear it afterwards · WORSHIP ASSISTANT: Help the pastors serve communion, make sure details are handled · USHER: Hand out bulletins, answer questions, direct worshipers where to go · GREETER: Smile and say hello, help everyone feel welcome (especially newcomers) Of course, we will not throw you to the dogs: we will provide training and assistance along the way.
